Travel with children
|
Traveling with children might differ from what you have been used to and will sometimes be more challenging than traveling on your own. Our experience though is that it opens many new doors and lead to meetings with interesting people you would never have met if not travelling with children. You are also never, or anyway very seldom, seen as a threat and are therefore often welcomed with big smiles. Off course traveling with children requires a bit more planing than when you set of on your own. There are though not that many extra things to keep in mind. Here on our website we have tried to compile our experiences and knowledge about traveling with children and the extra things you have to plan for. We hope that we can inspire to both small and big expeditions with children. If you have comments on this page or want to share your own knowledge and experience, please contact us. |

Together we have extensive experience traveling with children. We have been in about 50 countries in total, many of which we have visited several times and then several months at a time. Our latest expedition went overland from Stockholm to CapeTown, a journey through 3 continents and 25 countries. Our expertise in terms of traveling with children does not extend that far back in time, namely in 2004 when our first daughter Frida was born. Since then we have however managed to travel with Frida and Moa (born 2006) in a number of countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Norway, Spain and Finland and from Sweden to South Africa in our own car. |
